eBay released my funds - don't give up!
I have used eBay for a very long time. After having had multiple accounts, some aged, some new, I know how corrupt the system is. That is why I no longer feel bad by working eBay because they lie on a regular basis. A few years ago I felt guilt like I was committing a crime. I was need of money that was held from my suspended account since October 2022, its been 70+ after I got the official suspension. In many ways I was desperate for my money because they f*cked me over with the suspension. I can't go into details but if I did everyone here probably could relate to some degree. I maybe contacted support over 40+ times, and emailed over 15+ times. I talked to merchant support, and they themselves contradicted eachother on a regular basis. These are trained employees with the company over 5+ years. A multi-billion dollar company and if it wasn't for my knowledge from having dealt with eBay for the time I have, I wouldn't have got my money back.
I'm no angel, no one here is if we are being truthful. But my last account got suspended for the wrong reasons, and they put me threw hell to get my money back. But I got my money back. If you get suspended or restricted and don't receive your money with a verified bank account do not stop calling support until you get it resolved.
Today for example I called *merchant support* not to be confused with oversea reps and the guy basically laughed me before transferring to Trust & Safety even though I asked him not too. He said I might have to wait 2 years for my funds. I talked to t&s again reluctantly, he transfers me back to payments team but I think it was someone he knew. Then the guy proceeds to tell me agents I talked to previously weren't educated on how to resolve this problem. Something I already knew!
Why is that acceptable? There are no rules on eBay, it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗, all you ever need to know is if someone else has done it you can also. If everyone here believed that many of your problems would cease to exist. Some lie here also, just have to take it with a grain of salt. Experience is priceless, and I'm not lying. If eBay holds your funds after a restriction, DO NOT take no for an answer.
