Re-activating old accounts

Haven't used several of my old stealths in a few years (since MP became mandatory)

Wen't to try re-activate one yesterday and got an error message to call e-Bay. I called from a new number (not one on the original account) and they of course said because I didn't have the original number that I would need to answer some background questions (Couldn't because info was creative)

Their solution was for me to register a new account and start all over.

So, my question is if I had the original number would they restore the account? Does anyone know anything about spoofing eBay? I know nothing about spoof but if I can get some accounts back I would look into it.

Re: Re-activating old accounts

you need access to email or mobile on file

mobile is preferrable as it allows immediate access

with email it is more complicated as it still asks for SMS so that personal details will be asked for in order to get in without SMS

if no mobile and no personal details are available the account is dead

These numbers were in the eBay system as a landline. If I spoof call from the number would it make a difference?

In my experience, one time the ebay agent wanted to call me back on the number, certainly try it, it might work.

Hello, just try call different agents, sometimes they can help sending verification code via email.

Depends how good the spoof software is.

But if you're calling a 1800 number they'll see the original number usually
