Old accounts for a feedback exchange
 

Checked my old usb sticks and found out that i still have few EB accounts from ~2015. Somehow they can not be converted to sellers - doesnt matter how i try , result is same- getting error "we looked everywhere, its not you, its us, bla bla bla...". Anyways thous accounts are with bogus info.

So i got idea - could use them as a buyers accounts to pump up feedback on them. Maybe later they would change something and it would be available to convert to sellers.
So if anyone wants i could be a buyer for a feedback exchange. If items set as pay on pickup. Because not going to pay anything. If anyone wants to try - let me know.

if accounts are active it is not a problem to convert , you just need to list an item

I tried all tricks i know and nothing works - they get the same "we looked everywhere" screen all the time. Tried to convert them through link, tried by listing an item - nothing works and they all gives same error on a last page.

you try another browser , listing an item should not lead to an error message

best of luck OP - if those accounts have not been active since 2015, then they are considered as new accounts regardless

They was created and forgotten and during all thous years had zero activities, not even logins was done.

Also browser change does not help, tried chrome, mozila, opera, tried on safari on mac and results are the same - we looked everywhere, is not you its us bla bla bla.. There are no such a problems with any other recently created (year or so old) accounts wgich was standing for a year with no use. However thous from 2015 looks like corrupted.

If you get the same error message all the time then the accounts have been restricted.

You could go on chat and ask a rep why you can't convert account to seller, this has it's own risk as they will look into your account and could suspend the account.
