Banned Indefinitely after 3rd Listing
 

Hi folks,

I’m getting back to stealth after a recent account was banned after a year.

Recently I created a new account with a new name, IP, address, and phone. I did not add a bank account as one was not requested.

I was able to list my first item, a book, and my second, a video game. But the third item, a Microsoft stylus pen, triggered my account to be banned indefinitely a few hours after posting. I did some browsing for about a week before posting my first item and have been posting these items once every few days.

One thing I did notice was I received a message from eBay a few days ago before my account was suspended saying my bank account could not be verified.

I’m not sure what I did wrong. Did I just get unlucky with eBay’s algo?

It's most likely Microsoft VerO protection, branded item.
As for "Bank Account could not be verified", did you type any random numbers, since i saw you did not add one?

why bother t o list ?
if it were sold,you would need to add a bank account?

how were you able to sell without adding the bank via MP?

If she does not add a bank account,then MP wont be able to send her the sales proceeds/
It is up to her.

You can list items without adding a bank account as there's an option to add bank info after first sale.

Why would you add a bank account straightaway anyway and risk losing the bank account?

I always add bank account after few sales once I know account has gone through initial checks fine.

Vero does not shut down the account,it only removes the listing and send a warning.

Correct anything like Microsoft or Apple avoid with a stealth account it will take you down.
