Multiple ebay accounts with same MP bank account
 

Hi everyone.

I am using 3 different eBay accounts with same MP bank account. All my eBay accounts have same personal info ( name , SSN , address etc )

My question is does every my eBay account have the $600 threshold separately ?


Any thoughts ?

if they all have the same SSN,there should be $600 for all three.not 3 x 600

That's what I thought as well.
But in the year 2022, you would not receive a notice regarding the over $600 threshold warning (such as requesting your SSN) if you did not exceed $600 for a SINGLE account .

For " $600 for all three , not 3 x $600 " scenario . you should receive a notice or a 1099K form if the total sales income from all three accounts exceeds $600. However, this did not happen to me in the year 2022

2022 is still 200 transactions and $20k

Yes. But IRS announced the $20K limit news on Dec 2022.
Prior to Dec , eBay still requested your personal info if your transactions exceeded $600

For example : when your account A has sale income $300 , account B has $300, account C has $300 . you would never receive any notice or requesting from eBay. even though three accounts have same SSN & same MP bank account.
You only receive notice if a SINGLE account exceeded $600.
