I have quite a few of eBay Payoneer accounts and wanting to know if there is any cheap alternatives to Google voice #s

Especially since I have to set alerts to make sure I use the Google voice or they'll recycle the number...
It's also a bit more annoying now that they require a number to sign up with it

Any new things in the sms verification world?

you can buy e-sim it is cheap solution and safe, because when you lost number, restore payoneer is a problem.
