LLC after personal account was restricted questions
 

Hello everyone,
I'm new here and I've been browsing the forums trying to find answers before posting but what I found confused me more or the info was just very dated. So what I would like to know.

My personal account was recently MC011 after selling for a few years. I did the whole song and dance eBay makes you do but was permanently restricted. I tried to pry to get more info and all I got was "we can't tell you because this info could be used to circumvent the policy, please stop selling on eBay", junk response.

I've thought about running a stealth account using one of my remote desktops but then ran into the MP / SSN problem that I have no idea how to deal with. I do not want to commit fraud, I want everything to come back to me as I am the one responsible for taxes.

I could be wrong here but I read that eBay isn't that strict on business accounts? But I've seen posts here where LLC accounts have been banned?
From my understand getting a LLC and registering as a business account could possibly help me get back on the platform without having to throw other family members' info making them responsible for taxes.

I've seen some mention to buy a US account. Doesn't that have other's information which could lead to fraud? I just don't see having an account registered under someone else but payments going to a bank account under my name would be safe.

Yes other info like address, phone number, bank would all have to be different but could or would eBay even bother checking into the owner of the LLC would my SSN ever need to come into play during the signup/verification process? I don't see them being able to link my account just by name

If this has been discussed recently I apologize I must of missed it. I appreciate any advice.

I have been wondering this too, I haven't seen this being discussed at all. I want to buy a stealth from one of the services on here but I don't know if any of it is fraudulent.

I had a biz account get hit with a MC011. I was running a handful of accounts using real info for the business account holder (mine) but the business account address was stealth. I had meant to change it to my real address (not sure if this was or is the right choice) but had forgotten. Anyway, I did have my same business owner account details the same across all of my accounts- some with my real business location being my address, some being old stealth Addy's.

They ended my listings during this MC011. I submitted all paperwork in my real address. They did question why I had the address in another state for my biz address. I came up with an excuse and had all LLC paperwork in my real address and said I would change it.

I went ahead and did. My MC011 was lifted and none of my other accounts were affected during a 3 week listing shutdown. With my personal details as the principal business contact ALL being the same (SSN and everything)

I don't know if the stealth business address saved me from being linked or if I am running things correctly now as all my accounts are using legit real info... Just have a handful of LLCs and an account for each biz.

I dont think the ein an replace the main business agents ssn and info. They still ask for it i would like to see some real answers on this. But i guess.you can try it out and let us.all know thanks.

They require SSN for single member LLCs I know for a fact

They require it for everything, corp, S, etc. I'm blowed a'f, no one can tell a way around it either without doing ID Th*ft

Was your SSN ever suspended permanently before you created the LLC.
Or was you LLC created under your SSN when it wasn't suspended?
