MC006 Temporary Restriction - Please Help

Hello,

I received a temporary MC006 restriction a few weeks ago now for which all has now been resolved.

However eBay did terminate all of my listings instead of the usual temporary suspending hiding them from view until the account was back and running.

Some of the listings have been running for 7-8 years and at present, all of that sales history has been lost unless I can get the listings reinstated instead of re-listing them as a new listing and starting from scratch with zero sales.

eBay did confirm that I did nothing wrong and this is just a normal procedure to protect myself and the customers.

The restriction isn't a problem, it's the ending of all my my listings and loosing all the sales history over the past 7-8 years.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem and if so what my next best options are?

I appreciate the eBay help desk guys are not always the knowledgable people to speak to so any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Thank You: :help:

Unfortunately, your sales history is gone, that can't be restored once a listing has been removed by ebay, even if they admit it was through error

Wait... 8 years of history gone?
That doesn't sound right at all.

Are you absolutely sure of this?

Ebay does not save your transactions for 8 years.
You should have your feedback .

He's referring to sales history on a specific item where it shows how many have sold. Those sort of listings are usually my best performers as well.

Unfortunately Reinstating the listing will not make it Active again only it will appear in your ended listings.

Yes he is.

Once they have deleted the listing it cannot be recovered. It's gone.

I use listing software where if the listing is removed you can resist it without the hassle as I went through the same scenario a few years back when nearly a 1000 listings were removed and when my selling privileges were restored I had to restart again. If it ever happens again now I can relist, ok with no sales history of the product but immediately back into selling.

I recommend that you contact eBay again and explain the situation. You can also try contacting them through social media. If you're still not able to get the listings reinstated, you may have to start from scratch.

Take some tips form me:) (that helped me, at least):

Be polite and professional when you contact eBay.
Be persistent. Don't give up if you don't get the results you want the first time.
Be patient. It may take some time to get the listings reinstated.
I wish you the best of luck!

Cheers,
Miron
