Permanently suspended stealth acc?
 

in the past around 2020 i matured a few stealth accs up to thousands of feedbacks, but ended up getting them all linked to my brother's account and banned (the original reason i had to use stealth was getting linked to him in the first place).

I got a new one from here last month, but i got it permanently suspended after verifying payment info using a friends name and SSN. (i didnt want to use mine just because it's used on my other ebay managed payments acc that is doing fine).

I had a successful sale and a couple listings, so i feel like it was more likely the verification of my info that set off a red flag than my items.

Any suggestions for the future?

Perhaps your friend has a eBay account which was previously banned, or the SSN did not match the name?

hmm it wasnt exactly a fresh user account, but one thats had mild use. but thinking of it, i think ive got ebay accounts banned on that user account before.

i did use the stealth browser the instructions told me to with the imported cookies.

Just creat a new user account on your PC, delete the other one, do some browsing on it and then register a buyers account, do some more browsing on eBay and after a few days register your buyers account.

i wouldnt import cookies of old banned accounts

no i just meant i was importing cookies of the stealth account like the instructions told me, so everything would match when i accessed it from a new device/location, so i wouldnt spook it. so i did that part correctly, but i think i used a contaminated device (user account) which was my downfall.

i have a new ebay account which i also accessed from that user account by accident, so i have a new question:


if i switch to a clean user account will i be able to verify payments and such without the history of the account being accessed on a bad device briefly coming back to haunt me?

If you are saying can you verify your bank account with MP with the old account details not getting linked, then the answer is yes.

Interesting. So you have used an EIN and old bank details again? I would presume that everything else must be changed besides these details. Like the basics of stealth.

I just google search some old accounts and they no longer show on eBay website. The suspended accounts that is. The new conversion to MP had to of changed something internally with how they monitor accounts. On Etsy when signing up you could reuse the same SSN every time. It's 100% bluff they have, and it's still surreal to me eBay basically has this same formula now...
