Can Ebay Link My Accounts Through Reply Icon
 

Hi there,

So i had one ebay samoreg where i was trying to reply to seller via email

But i pressed the Reply button that takes you to Ebay messages

It took me to ebay messages on the account I was logged in before, not the one I wanted to reply from. But I did this from the wrong phone and ip, so I was wondering if they could link two accounts like this.

I have done it myself before and nothing happened afterwards, the occasional mishap can go unnoticed, depends if your account is under scrutiny or not

You may be lucky, nothing is certain in eBay, we are always learning, let us know what happens so we can be updated on how they react to this error on your part.

Okay but can any computer geek tell me what code do they put in the "Reply" buttons.
It is supposed to take you to the ebay messages where it automatically fills the receiver address and you can type in your reply.
So what would this be called?
