Default brother logged into his own account:O

ok, so i have one computer in my bedroom which i work on but i have a computer downstairs with the printer on which i print out my postage slips with paypal (family computer).. i printed some postage slips last night with my stealth account and didnt delete the flash cookies or browser cookies after i used it.. (not knowing that anyone else in my home had an ebay account).. my brother, today, has logged into his account whilst the cookies are still on from the stealth account.. will this link the stealth account definetly? i know that the ip has changed since i logged into the stealth but the cookies are still on etc.. my real account is not suspended but i made the stealth account because i got the 30 day suspension.. will my account my brothers and the stealth account all be linked because of this? and if i ever do get fully suspended in the future on one of the accounts, will they all get suspended? thanks guys

yes most likely your stealth account and your brothers account are now linked. IP alone might not be enough but the cookies would have done it assuming you both actually signed into your Ebay and/or PayPal account on the same computer.

And yes if one of you gets suspended in the future the other will soon follow if it is used during the suspension period.

yes.... but they would be linked anyway assuming you share the same surname and registered address.

So all 3 would now likely be linked.

possibly.... but probably better to assume they are all linked and to tread carefully.

In the long run you need to work on isolating your accounts better... it would be better to conduct all your business for a specific account from one computer/user account.

I have a different take on this. It is ok that the brother has logged into the account with the cookies from the other ebay account.

I dont think the memory of the ebay servers is long at all.

Only will he have any problems if one of the accounts gets suspended, the other one will in all likelyhood get pulled aswell.

If both accounts are in good standing no problem. If the cookies are now deleted and this doesnt happen again and in a month or so one account is suspended the other will survive.

Only my opinion, and tried and tested. Please correct me if i am worng.

i sure hope you are right neo .. im gonna let both of the account cool off for a month or so and not use them at all, and use a back up account... might as well test ebays memory server at least rather than not trying anything.. thanks
