Hotspot For Ebay
 

Hi,

I have a telephone that has a hotspot. With that telephone and creating new users on my PC, can I create a different ebay seller account or only the hotspot of the telephone works to be one ebay seller account?

hotspot works for many accounts as long as you reset the hotspot for each account - you should be getting a new IP each time

By reset, do you mean just turn it on and off?

I don't like using my tethering on the phone honestly.

Too unstable and I won't risk it.

I just keep my 1 residential IP

yes you can. And nowadays not only "new pc users" is the way. You can use browsers like incogniton or gologin instead of creating new users

You can but some networks may recycle ips over time. best to create using tether and stick to fixed ip for peace of mind

If you use your mobile phone as a hotspot eBay will not suspend an account because a recycled IP address is used, they look at the ISP also and realize that it is a mobile phone company that uses dynamic IP addresses which can involve reused IP’s. A lot of people are using tablets with SIM cards which after being switched off another IP is issued.

I would trust a mobile phone hotspot over V P N or expensive residential I P’s which contributors on here are saying is getting accounts suspended.

Hotspot IP address are fine from the bigger reputable cell companies. I use T-mobile, ATT, and Verizon from USA
