Shopify & eBay stores Linking?
 

I have a stealth eBay and a 100% legitimate Shopify store. I want to import my eBay items, which total over 10k, and list them on my Shopify store. Will eBay link the two accounts since the information on Shopify contains my legitimate details, including my federal ID number and name, which were banned on eBay during the Covid period? I plan to use a Shopify app to import my eBay listings, but I want to ensure there are no issues or complications.

Am I safe?

I would think you are safe if you are using a company like infoshore, it’s an api link through their developer account who you authorize in eBay to transport the listings. There generally no mention of who the website is and names in the link application, just the app developer and a account number which you creat with them. I have done stuff like this before and no comeback.

so an Ebay seller links his Ebay listings with a shop oustide ebay which belongs to someone suspended by Ebay,is no proof the two are one person.

No, just in to clarify, there is software that will scrape an eBay listing and put that listing into a website not belonging to the eBay account owner, will he get suspended due to another person who is possibly suspended by eBay, no. The API link is anonymous as far as the person who is linking from eBay to Shopify.
