Lost for words.
 

Had an ebay for 10 years, and got suspended because an idoit started listing my items and reporting me.. anyhow..

I learnt that opening a new accounts and listing will get you suspended right away, if the account is anonymous. If its an actual person you can list right away.

Open anonymous 4 months ago, verified , listed, sold and received positive feedback. Then I listed 4 items, 80 to 140 bucks. Sold 2 for 87, got disbursement, then 3rd sale day after $99 .suspened. softwares.

Uk ebay, items are shipped from US to US customers.

Why? Do they think I'm drop shipping? Even tho I have an office in US? Did i sell too fast? 270 is nothing? My limit on there was £6k.

I have another uk account ready to list, I just don't want to fk it up.. the items will be sold to us from us?

Should I just attempt opening US ebay instead? That could bypass the pickle if the system is wondering why someone in the UK is shipping from US. I need your hard facts please?

Finally, if I do open ebay US.. verify I'd shouldn't be a problem.. what about bank accounts, can I put UK bank? Or is it solely US.. in which case , will payoneer work? Or any other place to get a US account. Waiting on your response.. ty

P.s. a few days ago when I was asked for a card, enter one and worked.. 3 days ago it did spit it out and request another. Could that have been a trigger?

Too many possible factors to take a guess.

BUT what did the suspension email say? What did they ask for to correct it?

No suspension email.. when I go to payments is says restricted.. I chatted with them and they infinitely suspended... yes, I know ifs a lot of factors.. just want to attempt to narrow it down..

You listed expensive items on a new account , the last item was software?

for ebay such prices are a lot of money

Hmm... softwares yes, .. what do you think perhaps get 10 feedbacks first before I unleash on them? Or is it cuz a couple items where the same? Perhaps editing title? Category? At this time I have more questions than answers.. any other help would be appreciated.. thx 4 previous input.

It is probably the product you are selling which suspended the account, there are no no products you avoid until you establish an account and even then it should only be a business account listing them.

in the first 6 months you should avoid listing expensive items

in general expensive items should only be listed if there is a stable selling history otherwise even very old but little used accounts can get hit

I've never got suspended without first receiving a MC099 followed by request of documents.

It's not really branded, it's been out of business for years.. I'm thinking it's either too many sales/price , or software category.

List sell and ship 1, then follow by
List sell and ship 2 then 3 and so forth.. anyone of you go this route when selling and listing? Perhaps after 10 feedbacks, you're good to go?

i'm still so baffled at these type of the issues, you say unleash after 10 feedback, I never sell a lot until well after 4-6 months. ebay has to trust you before you start selling whatever you want. nothing has changed in 10 years.

Yeah feedback isn't a good indicator. Algorithms flag based on activity not feedback. I have successfully used brand new accounts and sold up to $7,000 within 3 months without issues. That account experienced a bunch of periodic reviews though, which I hate seeing. The hardest thing to do is have patience, but it's the most valuable trait to have with accounts, IMO.

Absolutely correct have patience and the road ahead will be smoother and longer with less hassle.
