EBAY UK BUYER ACCOUNT SET UP ISSUES & SUSPENSIONS - Ebay to Amazon DROPSHIPPING
Hi Everyone,
I need some advice on the set-up of my disposable Ebay UK BUYER accounts as i'm encountering random suspensions with no rhyme or reason - the following new accounts created last week has triggered this post for help:
Thursday 25th May - 10 New Buyer accounts created and orders placed - All fine.
Friday 26th May - 16 New Buyer accounts created and orders placed - 13 Suspended
Saturday 27th May - 14 New Buyer accounts created and orders placed - All fine.
I currently have 20 Ebay UK SELLER accounts that are up and running and are unmolested from between 8 to 2 months. Ive lost quite a few in that time but hopefully I’m past the silly errors of selling too fast. Although getting a buyer who raises a case rather than messaging first is a horrible way to lose an account :s
I am doing Ebay to Amazon Dropshipping and have been doing this for the last 3 years. However I go through phases where i just get mass suspensions on certain days with no real pattern.
The message i usually get is:
bootsee-00’9s account is now blocked.
Your account has been suspended
According to our records, your account has violated our site policies.*We've sent a note to*b************6@gmail.com*informing you of this decision.
I do around 300 orders a month with on average only 10/15 accounts go down
There seems to be no pattern? Which i know is probably what Ebay wants to keep everyone on their toes but i really want to nail this down.
Here’s my creation method:
I create a new buyer account for each order. Please know that i have been doing this for almost 3 years and have found it better than trying to do multiple orders from one account. ( even though i know the account should be stronger the more orders i do it just hasn’t worked out like that in my experience)
It literally takes me 5 mins to set up a new buyer account and i use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ email addresses ( totally made up and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ uk Mobile numbers from a simulator which never creates the same mobile number twice) I know if i was to get locked out/security checked then I’m screwed but it happens like once a month if that and totally worth it over creating email accounts and getting sim cards for each account.
I use either Multilogin/ Incognition/ Geologin or Chrome Browsers * note I have my Ebay UK Seller accounts on Chrome Browsers even though i understand most think there is a high chance of linkage but they are lasting at the minute and when a couple have gone down - the rest have been spared.
I use my EE phone hotspot and make a note of all the IP’s
Creation of EBAY UK Buyer Account:
1. Order comes in.
2. Create GUEST buyer account by selecting ‘Checkout as Guest’ on the product page.
3. Set up Guest account in buyers details but use my email address and telephone number. * Different email and Telephone number for each account creation.
4. Add Revolut card or pay with PayPal and purchase.
5. Once payment confirmation screen pops up there is a place to add a ‘Password’ to change the account from guest to permanent.
My Thoughts:
There are times I set up new Buyer accounts as a new user rather than ‘Checkout as guest’ but at the moment Ebay are hot on security checks at the creation stage and want to send an email to verify the account - That’s before getting to the payment screen. So at the minute checking out as a ‘Guest’ is a work around.
Im currently using a MAC - Should i just bite the bullet and get a PC with windows 10 and put VMWARE on it and at least tighten the account creation up?
I created 10 accounts on the Thursday just gone and 14 accounts Saturday and none have gone down? So what was it about the ones on Friday that triggered Ebay as the creation is the same?
Am I creating too many new accounts in a short period of time that Ebay bots are picking this up?
I did also spread those account creations on Friday between Multilogin/ Incognition/ Geologin or Chrome Browsers to confuse Ebay but they still obviously linked them all.
I am not the cleanest writer so I apologise if it’s hard to read in areas ….
Any help brainstorming this would be well received and any tips that actually help me eradicate the accounts getting suspended randomly will result in a ££ thank you or if you need help setting up UK seller accounts then happy to share knowledge :) |
