How Many Ebay MP Accounts In Your Own Name
 

Hey Guys,

How many ebay accounts have you got in your own name through Managed Payments? I have a few old stealth accounts I haven't used, which I'd be interested in using again. Obviously I'd need to get through MP with my own details.

if you're interested in using them again, might as well give it a shot. i have a bunch using same name through MP - and then a few that have actually worked with stealth info for MP...

A bunch of sellers here have used the same info for MP on multiple accounts with no bad effect or suspensions because of it.

How does that work? You have an old account in some made up name and address, then when it comes to MP registration you use your real name and address?

And when they ask you for ID, nothing happens when you add the same ID for multiple accounts?

you can have an unlimited number of accounts in the same name , I would not do too many though

be aware that you will be asked for ID at some point as ebay routinely check for ID when they see the same person has multiple accounts

So, what's the benefit of having many accounts registered with MP in the same name, when at some point Ebay can just take them all down in one swoop?

To circumvent eBay policy restrictions. You're essentially buying more lives / warnings before an actual suspension by having multiple accounts.

Just wanted to make sure of one thing...

So I could create an Ebay account with name

John Smith
10, Downing St
London

And then when it comes to the MP it doesn't have to be the same name and address? I could add the name and address of someone who will pass the soft check?

You could use the name of the actual bank account being used on MP

When I put in the real details in MP (sole proprietor/ single member llc) the entire ebay account takes on the real name, its no longer stealth.how to do it right? do I need to put a s-corp or multi member llc into MP to prevent the ebay account stealth name from changing?

Someone has to manage the account so they will always use that name. For example, if you called in to support, there has to be a name of the person doing so right?
