Purchasing something with my new stealth account
 

Have anyone here ever bought something on there stealth account to solidify the account?

I was thinking about it to gain trust for ebay.

Would ebay ask for a credit card or a ACH when wanting to buy something?

Is this a good idea?

Going the extra mile besides warming the account up with saved sellers/items load up data history.

Is it a good idea to use the seller stealth account to buy something and ship it to mynew buissnes address?

Asking which would they ask for?

I know credit card they would ask for name and address exp cvc.

Ach is just the routing and checking.

Haven't used Ebay to purchase anything in a long time.

Going to test this once I have my stealth account from James.

Would the credit card info be a red flag if it was originally a bought stealth account?

I don't find making purchases with eBay makes a difference when it comes to selling trust.

When paypal/ebay stealth was still active. I used to buy random penny items to get the feedback and solidify the stealth account. I wonder if it would work the same with MP. But the info CC for PayPal was easy to get around.

I do find that making purchases on a stealth account before listing does strengthen the account as it verifies the address ( if the address would except the package for you) it makes sense that a deliverable address is more trustworthy and helps when verification comes around.

It adds to your feedback count which is defiantly helpful. Regardless if it's buyer feedback vs seller feedback, I don't think many people take the time to actually check the feedback. Just like they don't take time to read item descriptions. So artificially building that number up with low cost items on a new account over time helps with your feedback number which then increases sales etc etc.

seller feedback vs buyer feedback has long made a difference on seller metrics and account status effect though
