| | | stammer | 06-10-2023 03:20 AM | ebay asked me for ID at first sale Hello guys, i hope you are doing well :d
after a long story with proxies and suspensions, i finally got 1 sale on my stealth account (and the buyer left positive feedback)
Unfortunately, when the buyer bought from me
eBay asked for updating account details :noidea: (uploading ID and update bank account) and told me the payment will be held until i update informations
and i should update them before next month to avoid other restrictions :tears:
is that mean there is no way i can withdraw my funds even if i add bank account? |

after 1 month, i think they will suspend the account , and that's ok for me
even after that, they will not release funds to withdraw right? and is this frequently happen to stealth accounts? |

because most of online banks don't support my country (unless payoneer and wise) but if its possible, i will definitly find a way for it |
Re: ebay asked me for ID at first sale stammer, you can list your steps of account creation and what services you are using if you want ppl to analyze |

i thought its ok since i can survive the early suspension and get my first sale, but i didn't expect that they will ask for ID
Does this happen to all new sellers or my account is flagged? |

You used a crappy IP , that's a major problem.
and since I don't know what you are selling, I can't comment on that but it could be the next issue |
| degsey69 | 06-12-2023 05:49 PM | Re: ebay asked me for ID at first sale What a lot of people do not realize is that eBay do web browser fingerprinting on new accounts, it’s done automatically and either an immediate ban if the account is setup wrong or they ask for ID if the setup passes some but not all of the criteria. They can detect a V P N and which company it belongs to and the fingerprinting can show them what IP address your browser was using before, say in your own country, which will flag the account. |
