Can someone please explain how a SIM card can be used to make a Ebay Stealth account
 

So I am from the UK. And I want to make an ebay stealth account Ive heard about residential IPs and etc but none have worked for me. I just heard that you can purchase a new simcard and use that for a stealth account if so how comes? does a sim card give you a new IP address?

Just go to argos buy a smarty SIM card for £5 a month subscription (I believe its a £1 to buy), place it into a mobile phone and use it as a hot spot to access eBay, whilst observing all stealth precautions.

This in turn will give you a phone number for eBay to text you.

An affordable solution that takes care of a good IP address that will not get your account suspended and a good telephone number as well.

by hotspot do you mean just using my phone data?? I have an Iphone 10 btw. Thanks for the help

Yes just use the phone data package, if your phone has had a previous eBay app do not use it for eBay. Best usage of this is to hotspot to your PC or laptop.

You will need a new sim card to have a new fresh number and ideally your phone should have dual sim capability, if not, then you will need another phone to access the new sim card and to receive security codes from eBay.

You can just grab a sim for 99p.

Also, depending on your broadband supplier, you can turn off your modem then turn on again and that will give you a fresh IP, this depends if your provider uses dynamic and not static IP.

oh Ive used both my phone and laptop to access the banned account in the past will the sim card method still work using as a hotspot on my laptop?

No it doesn't matter, just make sure not to use the ebay app again, best to remove it from the phone. Main thing is to track you IP addresses from now on, it is one of the flags bots use to link accounts.

so if I delete the app do I just use ebay on safari browser instead???

I think this and more is covered in the aspkin stealth guide. To avoid risk of instant suspension I would recommend reading it first as it covers this and much more in detail

It seems to be covered in this thread in detail, why have the forum when you recommend someone to read a guide that does not cover everything as things change.
