Did eBay recently change the Account Verification system?
 

I ask because I was making a 1st listing on a stealth account
like I've been doing. This one was 6months old and I recently did a change of address.
Anyways when I went to list it hit me with a that requires
Bank and ID verification. This has never happened on my first listing before.
Though I admit I am somewhat new to the stealth game
perhaps one of the vets here can shed some light on this.

PS I went ahead and submitted a ID and Bank info. I'll keep ya'll posted!

why did you do a change of address? that might have been the kicker

Yeah I think your right. I needed a real address in case of returns. I used a new bank account and my real ID so hopefully it works.

In eBay you can enter a return address separate to the account holder address, that’s all you needed to do.

I've seen the same happening on newly opened accounts after first listing. Immediately went into verification mode. ID + address proof requested
