Fresh account suspended for unknown reason
Hi there,
So a brand new ebay account just got suspended 10 mintues after it was made. Reason is not clear, a fresh ip and a fresh device was used alongside all of the other data.
No actions on this account either, except for veryfing the address and phone number.
Does this usually happen? The only connection I can see is that I was sharing my wifi hotspot from the same device, but it was an entirely different sim card with a different IP. |

Where you using a PC with a sub account with a new browser, a lot of people use the same account on windows thinking if they clear the browser cache and use a different ip address it will not be. Also look at the name of the computer in windows, it may be a distinctive one which eBay can see and associate with new accounts made. |

Most of new ebay low limits accounts getting suspended so fast with no reason even after one or two moths of selling |

the phone number, addresss, or email address can get you suspended immediately if they dont meet their requirements.
google voice or any voip will trigger a suspension. It hasto be a sim card number that can receive text. An email service that doesnt require phone verification will trigger a suspension. A po box will get you restricted UNTIL YOU SHOW ID. the po box address has to be on the ID , and on the credit report. if its not they might ask for another document before they suspend you. they might suspect your device is a cheap burner .its not always something complex. if Your trying to list something at 3am they will suspended you. safe items arent safe anymore so list something high dollar and let them remove it, wait a few hours and try again in a different category. The only people trying list one 10 dollar items are related to people who are banned. This womens son is blacklisted for selling counterfeits and look here, his grandmas registering as a business on a vpn .BANNED |

| The reason why they get suspended is that low limits are given to new accounts where the user name, address and other details do not show on their database search when you apply for the seller account. Low levels are given and generally they get suspended if no more info can be verified. |

| The issue is that I havent started selling. Literally made the account and got auspended 10 min later |

If your using a VPN or virtual machine its always that. it says hes logged in through a virtual machine on their end. It might work after you sign up and establish your account on a real residential ip. Then they at least can verify your identity. then you hop on the virtual machine and they know who it is. |

usually it has to do with the address or bad ip (check quality score), for address: it must be a clean and fresh address that was never used on ebay. |
