digital goods alone is very risky and now you wanna step on the biggest land mines of Microsoft and Adobe?

Your account will be nuked so fast you won't have time to blink.

What if the product is physical ? And I shipped them out ?

Or what if my source is licensed to sell their products?

If you sold them where you would mail the code with tracking the risk of being suspended is lessened.

Physical product might lessen the chance of having issues/accusations - is it in a commercial box, etc/

even if you deliver the product digitally,it is always a good idea to ship something with tracking, may be some papers first class with tracking is less than $4 domestic.

I was thinking perhaps post the receipt to them with a "thank you for your purchase" type card

if after paying almost $4,and fees, you still make a profit/
There was a time people who design websites get hit with INR,if the website is up and running,Paypal will deny the claim.
Or the designer can mail copy of the design with tracking.
But there are those who accept paypal for catering, massage, haircut, plumbing work are not so lucky.
One guy delivers a TV set and took picture of the two shaking hands,no deal,he lost his TV,

Always high risk on eBay selling items like this be it via digital delivery or physical delivery

If you really do want to sell items like that then you want to add in other non digital items

You can sell websites on eBay as you are selling a service even if it’s digital.

In this case payments not hold for future sales ?

Yes I have seen other sell similar products on auction and have their own website through the discription section, is that the correct way you'd recommend doing it ?
