permanently restricted vs Suspended?

Does anyone know if their is a difference between getting your ebay account permanently restricted from selling vs suspended from ebay? Why is Ebay still allowing one of my MC011 stealth accounts with payments on Hold to buy?

Sometimes they do that if they feel that the account is genuine and the selling account problem is VERO or INR or similar infractions.

thats crazy because the ID that i submitted all i did was change the name . the address and birthday didnt match. I was trying to get suspended so i could get my money lol

You will still get the money after 60 days, they will hold it until then, they will not allow you to spend it.

ok since i have you here let me ask you this. i have another account with payments on hold that has been restricted for about 2 months. I havent uploaded any documents or ID. Do You think the 60 days rule applies to that account?

If you've previously recieved payouts on this account then they will release the funds after 60 days regardless of which policy you violated.

an account can be restricted from selling,but it can keep buying.
an account can be restricted from buying,but can keep selling..

many ebayers buy and sell on Ebay,so it is possible to be banned from buying but not selling.
A woman living in rural Mexico used to buy low price silver jewelry on Ebay for under $5,sellers would just mail it first class oveseas envelope with no tracking,many were stolen so she files too many INR and eventually Ebay gets fedup and banned her from buying.
