Can we still get virtual credit cards?
 

I remember not too long ago, you used to be able to log into your online banking, and if you had a credit card account with them, you could request a 'one time' virtual CC # to use for some online purchase. BOA had it and a few others.

HAvent seen this feature talked about much in past few years. Does anyone still offer it? Referring to US banks

It's mainly offered by digital banks these days.

Some highstreets may still offer then but I haven't seen it for a while

You used to be able to do it with capital one with their chrome browser extension.

Banks dont advertise virtual credit cards because they know scammers want them, So they call it a temporary card number. . A Robinhood spending account gives you a virtual debit card, only in some states (Texas cant California can ). Cash app has one. I was able to add the robinhood one to Mercari but I couldn't add it to cash app.

Capital One still has this function

Amex has them as well (although I haven't tested them so unsure if they work with ebay)
