eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - Starting A new Ebay Account

Hi everyone, Had a quick question, so my ebay account was shut down about a year ago, I wanted to open a new account, using my real name , ss#, (i'm not even sure I gave ebay my ss# before), I realize I would need a different address, phone number, ip address (I will use airplane mode w/ hotspot on phone), new user on my laptop, hopefully I covered everything, could I make a new account, will ebay catch it?

eBay tends to suspend all new accounts even if info is all legitimate.

Name could be the same for an obvious reason but ssn# should be unused at eGay

I'm not sure that I ever gave Ebay my social security number because I had my old account mostly to buy, this was when ebay used Paypal for payments, and before the $ 600 threshold. If I gave it to ebay it would be under "Personal Information" correct? the only thing I see is Username, email address, phone number, there isn't anything else under my old account.

Back in the day eBay did not require your SSN as PayPal produced the 1099’s so the odds are your SSN is not held by eBay.

Not entirely accurate, you can use old information, and the accounts will still function normally. The crucial aspect is to set them up correctly, and the most important factor for new accounts is the IP address
