when buying items on ebay, will they link accounts based on billing address?

When buying on eBay on a stealth account I use PayPal as you can create an email in the name of the account holder but use your details of name and credit card to fund the purchase, that way the accounts can not be linked.

eb tends to be more lax on buying accounts but i'd still aim to remain linkfree - in case you go the selling route later

feedbacks as a buyer don't count towards selling.

And yes, address is a link - one of many linking parts but likely more impactful if you sell the same stuff as the old banned acxounts

Yes they can link accounts by billing/registered address.

It isn't unknown for several accounts at the same address to be taken down if one goes down.

These days they're as wary of scam buyers as they are scam sellers.

some Ebay accounts are banned from buying but not selling if they become a hazard to ebay seller community .
Ebay is known to suspend ebay accounts which share the same address or using the same device to log into ebay accounts

this depends on what you are being searched for , it is similar to being searched for by police , they do not look for random people but for specific people and depending on the reason the type of search may be different

ebay is the same , if you have an account suspended for fraud for example the search for associated accounts may be for any similar details but if you are suspended for bad performance they may not search at all

Exactly, that's correct. eBay has a policy that prohibits multiple accounts with the same billing and shipping addresses
