Does eBay release payouts for permanently suspended accounts?
 

Sold a few items on a fresh stealth account, got suspended, appeal did not work. Account is toast.

Will they release the payouts? I can see that the funds have been released as the buyer has confirmed delivery, but payouts are on hold and the following message is displayed: "Your payouts are currently on hold because your eBay account is suspended. You'll start getting paid again when your account is reinstated."

likely 60-72 days if no violation of terms

this depends on verification , if amounts are small and no verification was required they will be released otherwise only if already verified

Usually if the bank account has been verified they will release the funds after 60 days if not they may not release the funds.

Typically after 60 days.

It can depends on why the account was suspended though

As long as you can still log into your account they will payout. If your password stops working then you won't. my last suspended account took 60 days and they never even requested ID. Their is no point in giving them your ID you will still get paid.

Anyone know how to get your payout if you closed your bank account linked with the restricted account?

I would think by doing a reckless act of closing a suspend accounts bank account, almost insured that you will not see the money anytime soon, if at all. You can try and call eBay and they may allow you to update the bank details but do not hold your breath.

this is on amazon , ebay is different , ebay only pay out on a suspended account if it is verified or if the total turnover made so far was below verification threshold

but really anything above 1.5-2K pounds turnover on an unverified account would not be paid out , it does not even need a suspended account , on any account incl. an active one

there were many sellers who suddenly jumped from low turnover to high through sales of expensive items and their payouts were immediately stopped until verified , anyone whose verification failed lost the entire balance

going to be rough and requires quite of communication with eb and submission of bank info...it's not straight forward :(

Appeal and follow eBay's requirements. Even better, consider purchasing a few backup accounts! Ones that are more than 1 month old.

Ebay is putting maximum effort into restricting sellers that look prone to chargebacks . More than anything else ebay hates chargebacks. Ebay isnt the police they arent trying to figure out if you are who you say you are .Everything ebay asks you to do is to buy time, they dont even look at that stuff. Ive submitted some Ids with celebrities pictures on them and i still got paid. one time i gave them one with oj simpsons face on it and to this day i can still buy on that account. They just want that 60 days to go by just as fast as you but without being bothered. When they first switched to MP they were focused on identity theft but quickly realized that catching criminals is not lucrative. Sellers who run stealth are more likely to bring chargebaks thats the only reason they try to stop us from doing it. once your money clears the chargeback period of 60 days they dont want any part of it, they got their cut already so they release yours.

it is a very nice story but it is completely bogus as ebay will never accept an ID if previous check of personal details through databases has failed and most certainly they will never pay out anything if account verification failed

all checks are done by adyen who have legal obligations so that there is no chance your story would work in reality but I agree sounds nice

if you have a merchant account to accept credit card transactions and you have too many chargebacks,then the bank will raise your fee.
If you post OJ Simpson photo,AI is not going to compare it to any celebrity,as long as it is a human,not a cat or dog.
Once my 65 years old neighbor posted a picture of Victoria Principal on some dating service,he gets so many responses,one even start crying he is a social worker and makes less money,and cant meet a beautiful model?

If you can log in you will get paid its as simple as that. Failed id verification + multiple charge backs = deleted account. Mis matched names isnt enough reason to delete an account and neither is a couple un happy customers its a combination of both.

If you fail id verification your account will remain restricted/suspended for 60 days. If buyers don't file any charge backs, open any claims or give any negative feedback within these 60 days you will get paid.
