Evay requesting SSN after reaching $600 selling limit.
 

Hey all, I finally accumulated over $600 in sales on my stealth account!
Ebay is now requesting a SSN number. What is the rule here?
Do I keep selling as much as I can until my account gets frozen or can I
Submit my real SSN info here? Thank you, you guys are the greatest!

see if EIN works.

If not, the account needs to be on SSN and your name.

I used my real SSN on this current account when I first started selling. Now it asked me again. I went ahead and used my ssn again I'll let you all.know what ends up happening. Thanks!

you need to change personal details as well so that SSN matches full name and DOB , regarding address I don't know

Yeah, I did have to change to my real name as well.
I used the address of a family member as well.
So far my account's still alive.
Set to payout tomorrow if nothing happens by then I should be freeeee

I always thought they asked for last 4 of the ssn. They don't do that anymore?

not for individual account,they need the whole to send you and IRS a copy of 1099k

So business you just need last 4 of ssn, birthday, and ein correct?

At first yes

When $600 IRA limit is hit on a personal account then the full SSN is needed

But for business account, I am assuming that you don't need full SSN, just last 4, along with full EIN, is that correct?

i completely forgot how the stealth process works because i'm just using my real details along with ein now. All accounts have been stable. I forgot whether they demanded for full ssn or just last 4 of the ssn. But even if it was the last 4 of ssn, it's really easy to get an ein.

So what was the verdict on this again? Full SSN cannot be avoided? Or is the last 4 of the SSN doable? I completely forgot and the search function on this forum only let's you search one phrase every 30 seconds and it's not like your first search phrase is relevant to what you are actually looking for. And on top of that, add another 30 seconds.
