World Record Fastest Selling Item!!!
 

OMG! Ok, so I broke my iPhone 3GS phone yesterday. I dropped it and cracked the screen. I had a guy unlock and jailbreak it today so I can resell and get a new one. I listed the phone and I swear as soon as I clicked Submit and hit My Ebay again, the iphone was SOLD BIN for $400!!! Less than 2 seconds... AND the guy paid instantly!!

Yea...the iphone 3gs is one of the most hottest items on ebay. People will do anything for it even if it is broken.

im thinkin about gettin a new one and crackin that one too and resell it. lol

During the past month I have had 2 transactions in which the customer never read the listing and they admitted so. They just looked at the pictures.

Never-the-less, I have been calling every customer on substantial orders.

You might consider that on this one to avoid a potential problem.

He followed up with an email saying. "I just paid for the cracked iPhone blah blah blah." So yea, he knows. Good point tho.

Make sure its not fraud. Transfer the money first, then send the item. I just got done with an item a guy bought from me that PayPal said was purchased with a stolen CC. Thank God I hadn't shipped it yet!

I've had 2 items sale fast like this, literally within 2-3 minutes or less after listing them. It gives you a crazy mixed set of feelings, or at least did me LOL

On the flip side I've had an email notification based on my saved searches, checked the item out and bought it on BIN only to get a surprised email from the seller asking how I managed to buy it so quick as they only just hit the list button!

Yeah I sold a few iphone 3gs about 2 months ago and yeah, they sold within an hour of listing

yea, i'm not shipping it until I see the COMPLETE for the bank transfer.

my fastest to sell is 15 mins wow very cool mate !

Anybody know if there is a limit to how many iPhones you can buy? Like if I wanted to buy them, unlock & jail break them and sell em for profit.

2 Minutes is my record.

I think my fastest sale was somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 minutes.

It was a pretty rare Fireman's Badge, some collector just swooshed it up at about 2:00 AM.

I am always left with the thought that I listed it to low when I sell things right away or within hours? LOL :noidea:

I just had my fastest sale in the Clothing section, only 9 minutes!
