Your listing was removed: Food policy

So today I got a message from eBay stating that one of my products was removed.

It reads

''We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our Food policy. Certain food products are not allowed on eBay. Listings for food items that are allowed must follow our policy.
What activity didn't follow the policy''

''This product has been reported to us by UK Trading Standards due to non-compliances with the labelling requirements in Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 with respect to the best before date format and ingredient listing format, non-compliance with the labelling requirements in Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011in that an allergenic substance was not given suitable prominence and non-compliances with The Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 as the name of the food was "Dietary Supplement" but this should be 'Food Supplement'.''

What you need to do next
''Please ensure your current and future listings follow this policy.''

eBay never states that I cant relist. It seems that eBay are informing me of my errors. But I'm not sure exactly what error in my listing I have made. Other listings of the exact same product are still active on eBay from an array of different sellers.

#1 Should I contact eBay via chat and have them clarify what corrections I need to make

#2 From the above message from eBay, can anyone here decipher what error I made in the listing, and the best was to correct.

Look forward to any input, Thanks

what kind of supplement.
Just because other listings have not been pulled does not mean they will stay up for long

The error on the listing is explained, they state that you have described the supplement as a diet one and needs changing to a food one.

I just spoke to eBay, they advised me not to relist. They didn't give me any advise on what changes to make, only that ''do not relist the item.''

I still have 100 units left

I think my best bet is to re-design the label to comply with the requirements, and sell on a different platform. As maybe I should be exploring other sites anyway to Market my products

Don't relist it directly

Reword it - new pictures - new everything - then list it again if you really need to

Where did you get these supplements?

If Ebay is telling you not to relist, there must be good reason why.
what if someone got sick, can they come after you or Ebay?
It could also mean the brand name co could remove your listing.
Or if it is counterfeit, knockoff,it could come after you.
With items like brand name watches, jewelry, the company may want to know where you source the item so it can go after the manufacturer.

Product is generic, so there is nothing to counterfeit
There are multiple eBay sellers who are marketing the exact same product on eBay, product is also on Amazon and other sites too. Thanks for your input

That's the plan, update the label, new photos, new description, but to list on a different platform. As always, Thanks for your wise advise James.

Context is too secretive and bland, either express it fully or talk to yourself in the mirror about it. No one asked for the item number.
