Ebay lost package
 

Hi forum,

I sent on time and USPS lost the package

The buyer opened a case and I put the tracking number

Ebay intervenes and gives the buyer a refund (I don't have a problem with this)

My question is:
Why does eBay count my seller metrics as a Cases closed without seller resolution, if USPS lost the package and I have no control over that?

because it wasn't you who issued the refund.

There is no half and half, if a customer opened a case for item not received you have a period of time to refund them, even if the tracking number shows you posted it on time, if it does not show delivered and a case opened you have to refund before they do to keep the bad metric of your account record. Different case if tracking shows delivered and then you can battle it out and eBay will dismiss the claim.

Because eBay interviene to give the refund to the buyer but Is still unresolved as It not delivered so It count the metric i meant half lose Bay half the seller

what does your tracking number say?
USPS has more information than what is shown online at its site,you can try calling 1-800 USPS customer service and see if they see more ?
Is it insured?
if not,then it will ask you to file a report ,USPS has a warehouse where all the mail which failed to deliver ended up in San Fran,good luck !!!!!!!
