3 Year Acc under review & the payouts have been placed on a temporary hold
 

I got an email today:

"Your account is under review, We wanted to let you know that your payouts have been placed on a temporary hold. This may have happened for a variety of reasons.


You can still list and sell items on eBay as usual
The review process may take up to 5 business days. During our review, you’ll see a banner under your account’s Payments tab indicating a payout hold
The banner will be removed once your payout hold is released, and your payouts will resume based on your regular schedule

"

It is 3 year acc with 99.99% fb.

what kind of help do you need? you will need to provide more details about your account and operations - what are you selling for example?

Have you had any cases, INR, many returns, etc etc maybe that has triggered this. Please share.

I used my real ID to register this account.
It has more than 1000+ fb.
Just one item not received case ( I did provide tracking number ).

I contacted ebay and the CS said that was just a random check. No documents needed unless they are requested. It will take around 5 days.

Might be just random check because of quantity sold and amount, give more details what items are you selling and have you had any abnormal activity before this review ?

It is a random quality check on the account, I would recommend selling as usual and the red banner will disappear in your payments page by the end of the 5 days and all monies will be released. If your account is sound and proper you have nothing to worry about,

I have set all quantity to 0.

It’s my opinion, but not validated, that eBay would see listing item levels reduced to zero is suspicious and would creat more scrutiny than if account was ran as usual.

lol, what are you selling? this is never random and ebay reps read scripts for answers.

It got the attention of someone with some pull so, it seems like it may have to do with your "selling practicies."

I agree with @degsey, it is a random check and fairly common. If your selling practices are sound then you have nothing to worry about.

Whilst I doubt it will have an adverse effect, I also have to agree that reducing stock to zero is not a 'good start' as one poster suggested.

Just carry on as normal, I'd be amazed if you were suspended.
