Will eBay SUSPEND me on first payment?! (High Amount)
 

Hi,

I only sold on etsy before. I now decided to expand to ebay.
I would open a german eBay account on a proper stealth setup.


The problem is:
The Items i sell are like 700-1000€ each. Low risk shippable items, no Vero

Will eBay suspend /give me some kind of restriction if that would be my first sale?
Or will they suspend me when I listed the item?

PayPal always gave me a temporary restriction after my first high sale.

Account would be: 1 week aged
MP linked to my Revolut IBAN (Same name as eBay)

Or would they just hold the money and send it once the Item is delivered to the buyer?
Also, do creative IDs that pass PayPals checks pass eBays as well? Or is ebays system much stricter?

Surely if you are a new seller they will hold the money at least until the tracking code indicates that the product has been delivered.

In any case, have the purchase invoice from your product supplier and the documents from the eBay account holder ready.

It is also important (in Europe) that the owner of the bank account is the same name as the ebay account.

Probably, not worth the risk. Account needs to be used with normal value items first.

You need to build your account over time for sales like this.

What category are the items?

some items are considered high risk,like cell phone made by SAmsung and Apple,expensive jewelry.precious metal and COMICs,
Yes,comics are high risk.

hmm I dont see where OP stated this though but those are high risk indeed.

That's pretty high value items regardless of brand.
I'd be nervous to list them on a new account

Even with a gradual build up over a period of time, that value of sale would bring attention to the account. Also if your account is personal that is a higher risk than a new business account that is VAT registered selling high value items.

Yes; they dont like big payments/sales when the account is new
