Can I use an anonymous second cell phone line?
 

I am preparing to use my best friend's dormant (but in good standing) eBay account to begin selling again, after a permanent suspension a few years ago.

I am slowly changing all of his eBay and Paypal contact info.

Can I safely use a second phone line with a new phone number on my existing cell phone where the primary number is linked to my suspended eBay account? I really don't want to a buy a second cell phone plus new cell service. The new number will be anonymous when it comes to caller ID.

Using same phone number is never a good idea; get a burner one

This sounds like trouble. Changing all of the info, then phone, it would be easier for them to shut the account down lol

or at least flags the account for id verification etc leading to suspension issues
