How Do They Get Away With This?
 

I see a lot of times where an account will have barely any recent seller feedback but thousands of total feedback and items sold. It makes it seem like that account was taken over / bought and they seller starts listing thousands of drop shipped products as they know an account with such high authority won't get taken down as easy.

14k items listed, so they are using a tool and they are dropshipping jerseys from china with stock photos with minimal recent items sold / feedback.

While this may be a semi bad example, i've seen similar shops with little to none recent feedback / item sold and the account is huge like this one^ I wonder if there is a marketplace for buying old seller accounts?

Ive noticed this aswell! If they are id imagine the accounts have been purchased for a hell of alot of money aswell!

I wouldnt be so sure they are shipping from china just from the handling time. The item location states Cleveland, OH and the listing does state Official product. If the buyer is actually doing trademark IP, or his tracking is not showing dispatch from Cleveland, OH, the account is probably not lasting long. The seller is probably obtaining offical product from some source and shipping from Cleveland, at the very least.

Foreal, I'd pay top dollar for a account with 27k item sold, 13k feedback and 14k dropshipped items already listed. Then again it's risky knowing eBay. To buy a account this big would cost thousands prob, if not like 10k+

Its more a question of how long an account will last when being run like that

Its also possible they have linked these eBay accounts into an old eBay with lots of selling history

I think it's original Jersey from US warehouse.

If they ship items from China and not original they get negative feedbacks and refund requests. Items should be with original labels for +250$.

My guy, no business with 14k in items in inventory are going to let it sit there. Stores with 5-10k + items are getting at least hundreds feedback every month. Price doesn't matter here, they just have their items listed high as less work for them, guess minimum profit isn't worth the inputting of the address for them.

They are dropshippers, i think they have CSV file with stock from supplier.

Original Jersey made in USA or China?

most original stuff these days are made in China though...just the label will be authentic based on the retailer getting their proprietary stock...for seller getting the merch directly from factory/outside sellers, that tag will be inauthentic

Yeah all the f*ke ones tags are made with the same UPC number or whatever you call the number on the tag. They'll never list it as authentic though, as if you don't use that word nor the brand in the title its fine, its kind of like a gray area .

No you can't list official and get away with it for too long. It will only take weeks or less before an undercover agent (such as the law firm johnson and pham) buys it and sends a cease and desist. Could be a tax shelter business for someone as well.

250$ for Jersey, it's like 7x manufactory price?

I just check my favorite club attribute prices, it's 30$ for t-shrits and 50$ for medium quality hoodie with club logo and still i think they sell with good profit,but it's european club not US.

the prices for authentic goods are outrageous and that's why the knockoffs do well in the market if you think about it regardless of vero and ipo violations

I have also seen relatively new accounts recently with 1000+ recent sales. Maybe 2 months old with 10-40 feedback. Not sure how people are getting away with it. One account was a ukraine account. most other appeared to be US

Idk, some people just have the sauce man. If you know certain knicks and crannies, no point in sharing it with others and getting it patched. This is why networking and building relationships is key, as no one is giving good info for free on the internet.

The accounts always appear to be in the US, but I bet of you purchased an item it will ship from you guessed it, China. When I catch a fraud seller doing this claiming to be in the US but dropshipping from China it is instant negative feedback and I open a case. Lying is lying.

The account looks legit. Being a 23-year-old account this person probably had connections to the IP owners before Big Box truly took over everything. Back then mom and pop stores were still around. Willing to bet the owner is the original owner of a store or an inherited source.

I am going to test this...

One thing I am noticing is that there are accounts that are chinese and saying they are shipping from California....

New accounts selling thousands of nockoff items. The standards of review must be different over there because there would be no way with a US account.

I am going to order something and see where it comes from.

Automasters you're lame. It's obviously from china if the shipping is yellow and the estimate is 2+ weeks out (7 or 10 day handling time usually). Also will put in description that it takes 2 weeks. If you are a USA account, you can't / don't want to put shipping from china and get your account banned.
