| Felics | 11-11-2023 03:12 PM | UK MP ID request Hi,
I have been asked to provide proof of ID for my account on eBay. They have asked for either a PP or UK Photo ID (i.e. a drivers license).
The details of my eBay are correct (i.e. if they did a poll/voter search it would be correct). However I obviously do not have photo ID for the details on the account (not real).
How can I get around this by not providing my real details/photo. I do not want to put my real details for various reason.
Anyone help with creative IDs? |

| Not following this, sorry. The first sentence suggests you've used real information that is verifiable with public records but then you go on to say the details on the account are not real.
Which one is it? |
Re: UK MP ID request OP, are you using someone else's real details? |

Forgive me for the poorly worded post. |

Sorry I should've said the details registered are real but not mine. |
| degsey69 | 11-12-2023 04:25 PM | Re: UK MP ID request There are creative ways to get around the ID, the passport is best, as eBay can not validate it, whereas they can with the drivers license in the UK. |

Forgive me for the poorly worded post. | Understood - go the passport route as degsey stated |
| SammySquare | 11-19-2023 11:10 AM | Re: UK MP ID request The creative way to make accounts makes sense, it’s solid. But god damn Is it not legal. Their has to be a better way. I just contacted a lawyer that hopefully he can make me a contract, where I can buy people’s information for ebay verification legally.
Ebay accounts are what stops you 10x your income |

Are you high? | Someone bought an account which comes with a legit SSN,he sold something and left the money in his Paypal account.
IRS seized the money as the SSN belonged to a person who is a tax deadbeat |

And I am talking about just declaring them as a director, with their consent on ebay on your corporation. People already use friends and families name, I dont see why consensual account creation, would be an issue, if the user is not going to be taxed and the corp will. |

I asked a lawyer if I could use those "Prop" Id's, and he said no, if your trying to pass it off as real. |
