Hello respected forum members and experts, is it possible to sell digital items on eBay? Is it legal to sell digital items? If it is allowed to sell digital items on eBay, what is the way I can sell digital items and keep the account from being restricted? Thank you.

Clearly unless you're an approved seller then you'll never make a penny.

If you try and list without approval then your account won't last five minutes.

what kind of items are you considering selling? risky items?

Thank you for your quick response, but I will put a tracking number and this will cost me a little money For example, shipping a letter with a certificate of thanks or something like that, I think it will be legal. What do you think about this?

No, it is a program for Windows applications that I made, not Vero, and its price is only $25

Any Microsoft related items, especially if You send them via eBay messagges no matter if You ship it via Priority Mail with tracking to look like "non-digital" item gets account nuked very fast.

But why cant you put your program on a disktte and ship it with tracking

There are ways around it by posting the item on an SD card or USB stick - but you have to be careful with how the listing is worded. Make sure to avoid any mention of the big OS's

Not everyone can sell digital goods, thats what Ebay told me last time when I tried to sell some coupons and some buyers prefer to receive it digitally so they can go to the store website and use it.
But if you are selling your software for $25,shipping by first class with tracking should be no more than $4
