Purchase items to get ratings
 
Hello everyone, can I buy some cheap items to raise the rating on my new account before I start selling to make it more legitimate so I can gain buyers' trust and sell quickly, since buyers are buying items from sellers with high ratings? I want advice on that.

Nope, buyer's feedback are pretty much useless.

Just sell conservatively and get feedback that way

As a new seller I suppose you have other things to focus on. You can consider this if your first buyers negatively impact your new store feedback score

One or two buyer feedbacks with a new account is better than a zero start off, that’s what I do it gains a little trust on a new account, just not a load of them, it’s the buyers feedback you need to build the account.

It certainly doesn't hurt.
I just never do it.

Do you receive them at an accessible address or do you just buy a few cheap items and send them to a stealth address and forget about it?

I usually use an accessible address like a po box - otherwise if it's cheap trinket, you could do a stealth address
