Default Selling limits for a higher value item

Hello, I have a new account. I sold two items for $250, and they were shipped and delivered. I now have an item for $2,400 that I want to sell, but the selling limits for my new account are only 10 items and $700. If I put the item on the auction , will my limit exceed $700, and will it There will be no risk to my account I would like advice from experienced people, thank you all

what is your starting bid?

is there a reserve?
or you expect Ebay bottomfeeders to bid it up to $2400??

Do not ship until the coast is clear,
If you are suspended,EBay could send your buyer a message that you have been suspended, then he will panick .
Just email your buyer and said shipping will be delayed due to ebay, just blame it on Ebay for the delay

so you have been suspended BUT
We’ve credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listings.
------------
SO Where is the buyer payment less FVF?WILL YOU GET IT?

I will put $450 at the start of the auction, as it is the remaining amount in the monthly limit

musical instrument should not be too risky - if you set the minimum bid as 450 and let the selling price run up, the only issue is you will likely not be able to sell any more this month since your limits have been exceeded.

You will have to wait until next month for a reset

I would recommend a very low opening bid, if the product is going to sell for a high price then a low opening amount will not stop it getting to that price, in the mean time the AI bots will not see it as a threat.

it is a very bad practice to sell expensive items on a new account or account without recent selling history , this alone would be sufficient for MC011

If you're legit, ask eBay what would happen and if they can lift your limit if it will cause issues. Maybe it will deney your listing if you try to list a $2400 item for $700 limit

Legit or not, it's always risky to call eBay. Some times it works, sometimes they'll find an excuse to ban the account

I think that’s a high amount for a new account. You are taking a risk with that.

update
The auction was completed and the item was purchased for 2,300$ and payment was made by the buyer. Two hours after payment, a message was sent from eBay saying my account was under review. It takes 5 days and after an hour later I get a message from eBay again that my account is permanently restricted. I want to know the reason and can I ship the item or stop shipping it I sent a message to eBay telling them that I did not do anything against their policy and that they should reinstate my account and I am now waiting for their response.? I need advice and here are the two messages from eBay

Quote:
Your account is under review

We wanted to let you know that your payouts have been placed on a temporary hold. This may have happened for a variety of reasons—to learn more, you can check out our Payments on hold page.

We understand it’s important you receive your money quickly so we’re reviewing and verifying some of your account information and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Here’s what you need to know

You can still list and sell items on eBay as usual
The review process may take up to 5 business days. During our review, you’ll see a banner under your account’s Payments tab indicating a payout hold
The banner will be removed once your payout hold is released, and your payouts will resume based on your regular schedule
For more information about our terms and policies on payout holds, please take a look at our eBay User Agreement and Payments Terms of Use.

We’ll reach out to you if we have any follow-up questions and if you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch. We’re here to help.

We’re glad you're part of our community.

Thanks,
eBay

Your account has been suspended

We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk. We understand that this must be frustrating, but this decision was not made lightly and it’s important that we keep our marketplace safe for everyone. For more information, see our article on how and why accounts can be suspended or review our User Agreement.

Here’s what you need to know
You will no longer be able to use your account to buy or sell items and any new accounts you set up may also be suspended.
Any listings have been removed and they can be viewed below.
We’ve credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listings.
Any outstanding selling fees are due and will be charged to your payment method on file.. If you’ve already opened any dispute claims for these fees, they won’t be charged until the claims have been resolved.
Any store subscriptions have been canceled.
If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch. We’re here to help.

Thanks,
eBay

GG haha xD.

Everyone here told you that is too risky since it is New account and you have limits 10/700$ but you decide to list and sell item that is worth 2300-2400$.

What else to say except GG xD

hello rsot
Now do you think they never got my account back? I believe I did not violate their policies because I included an item. They should have waited to see that I would ship and things would go well or not. In addition, the money is hold by them until delivery takes place. What do you think that?
