Phone Verification Not Working When Converting Account to MP

I've got a number of old stealth accounts. I'm looking to convert them to my details to use. I did this for one about 18 months ago no problem. I tried to do it to another today and it got stuck at phone verification. It said it had sent the code or call, but I received nothing. i know the phone number works OK.

Anyone else had this recently? Is this just a glitch? I'll try again in a few days.
