moving to new state
 

Hi, I have many EIN numbers for my Ebay stores. Can I change EIN numbers to new ones registered in a new state that I'm moving to?
I believe I might have to do this to pay taxes in a new location/state.

Providing the name is the same as the one registered to the EIN you are going to use it should be OK

Hi, when i move I will have a new drivers licence. So all my EIN's of old will be from another state.
Put this way, if they are all NJ ein's, how will I do my taxes if now I live in Florida? That's my concern.
Won't the federal/state tax preparation be messed up/wrong?

personally I never worry about it and just pay the taxes in that state since I don't want to change info in the account that could trigger a verification.

Hi, so as you say it means that when Ebay/Adyen sends in your sales amounts (1099)'s, the .Gov just takes in the amounts not caring what state the EIN businesses are registered in.
I guess state taxing is the same thing. Good. I share EIN's with all the others sites I sell on too. Confusing, for them but a fine and legal..
