Multiple eBay accounts on 1 Phone

Can I safely manage multiple ebay accounts on 1 cellular phone?

i like to closely watch my main accounts , about 5 of them and Im able to do it effectively if theyre on my phone

I currently have the ebay app on my main iphone, wondering if i can manage another account on the Chrome browser app & Safari Browser app?

or will ebay detect the same IMEI and ban both?

Download Icab mobile for Ios.

That is what I run. I use a different user agent for each profile which you can set in the network settings.

You can download various other browsers to and run 1 account per browser if you don't want to use Icab.

Keep the cookies and IP separate from each account is more important for avoiding linking on the same device.

Is it possible to just use a different Browser for each account?
Ex:

eBay Account #1: Safari
eBay Account #2: Chrome
eBay Account #3: Mozilla

ebay will not ban by default but be aware that phones provide additional information , for example iphones make their name public like "mike's iphone" so that in the worst case scenario it would be possible to tell the same phone is used

They can tell you were using multiple accounts using the same phone/device due to IMEI/Device ID. you can spoof this tho

yess ill look into that

i was just a bit doubtful since that app's been used since like 2015

u know how sometimes their security gets updated. Wanted to see if there were any other new apps / tricks

But i will definitely give that one a try

lexisnexis threat matrix....ebay can easily see your phone finger prints and link all the browsers to the same device...easy suspension once 1 account is manually reviewed...theyll find all the links and close the rest within 5 mins

Re: Multiple eBay accounts on 1 Phone

If you have 5 accounts, do you really not have enough money to pay for $20 a plan for each phone? That is only $80 not including your main line.

Cutting corners with stealth is not wise. Sleeping better at night is worth the extra $80 bro. Stack your phones like dollar bills. Who cares, you don't need to carry them around, JMO

Re: Multiple eBay accounts on 1 Phone

one phone should either have zero accounts or one account unless they are in the same name , then you could just run one browser for each

Re: Multiple eBay accounts on 1 Phone

Using multiple accounts on a mobile device is generally not recommended, as mobile devices tend to "leak" more identifiable information than a PC, but in different ways. Unlike a PC, where it is easier to control and limit tracking factors, mobile devices share more persistent and unique identifiers that make them easier to track, even if you use different browsers.

On a PC, websites mainly rely on browser fingerprinting, which includes details like your IP address, screen resolution, installed plugins, and cookies. These can often be controlled or altered using browser isolation, user profiles, virtual machines, or anti-detect setups.
On a mobile device, eBay and other platforms can track additional, harder-to-spoof identifiers such as the device's IMEI, MAC address, unique hardware ID, and even motion sensors. These identifiers persist across browsers, making it much harder to operate multiple accounts undetected.

On PC, using separate browsers, sandboxing, or different user profiles can isolate account activity to some extent.
On mobile, apps installed on the same device (even if not actively used) can share data between them. If you have the eBay (or one of their partner) apps installed while also accessing different accounts via browsers, eBay can still correlate data.

Mobiles have additional sensors (GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer) that can provide further tracking data.

If you must use mobile devices, use entirely separate phones for different accounts.
A better alternative is to use a small portable laptop instead of a mobile or tablet. Laptops allow for better control over tracking methods and make it easier to isolate accounts.
By using a properly configured PC or laptop instead of a mobile device, you reduce the risk of linking accounts due to persistent device identifiers and cross-app tracking.

Yes, you can securely manage multiple eBay accounts on your phone, just be sure to use different login details and enable two-factor authentication for added security.

Not recommended - even with the different login details...the potential for linking is high

can try to use different profiles on phone with user agents that simulate new devices and fingerprint but can be not enough to mask it for ebay due to phone capacity ,maybe is better to use the pc

The simulation is tricky and potential issues - go for the pc setup

The only safe solution is setting up virtual servers, one each account you have, download a remote desktop app for iOS and use it to connects the servers and use the accounts

Seems like a lot of effort for the cellphone use

Set up process can be tricky for someone, but once you setted up the thing is safe

i use this configuration since years. For safety is ok also the browser method in case of estabilished accounts, not for new ones. This is my experience
