Single member LLC
 

I just need a little advice. I am running my ebay account in my fathers name/ssn. I made a single member llc on his name and added the ein/ssn combination to ebay which I have been running.
But my father is very ill and I want to move everything to my own details. Can i convert the single LLC to add me at a multi-member? or should i just start a fresh llc in my name?

This is not the place to ask for legal advice, however if you proceed I think likely you'll need to contact your secretary of state.

Can you provide more details regarding how long youve been generating revenue under the LLC? A few years? Less than a year?

If you are established, it may be better to transfer things to your name within the company, leaving eBay info the same.

You can transfer ownership of the company to yourself while leaving the eBay info untouched, do some research into this as I am not sure if you need a lawyer to do this for you. It may be as simple as reorganizing the corporation so that you are the sole director, but I am no tax expert!

IRS is known to seize $$ from taxpayer Paypal account if he or his estate owes tax $$,I am sure they have no problem doing the same with Ebay/MP

if you want to skip legal advice,I would suggest you start a new one,do not use his SSN .
