I’m back after 2 years away! But in a sticky situation!

I’m back on the forum as I’m seeking some help. I’m in a sticky situation this time a situation which I’ve never been in.

I’ve been hit with MC011 I’ve had this before and I’ve passed it before.

It’s different this time as my details are stealth details. I can change back to my name and address but for some reason eBay are not letting me change my Date of Birth I can’t click edit.

I have no option to submit a stealth ID. Utility bills, supplier invoice very easy.

Can anyone help me with this like a paid service. I was thinking of trying to edit my own drivers license through photoshop but I don’t have the expertise for this.

I have read a post of someone changing the flat number on their UK ID and it did pass.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I miss the days of ebay letting sellers use paypal. all of this mp crap is some crap. there are sellers that can pay a homeless man to use his info to set up an account so I don't see how ebay is stopping fraud. I remember how easy it was to move money around via paypal stealth. I purchased plenty of "hp printers" with one paypal account to fund another and then withdraw

Sadly the easy days are over - it only gets worse from here on. Eventually all marketplaces will close, so sell while you can

It’s a restriction. I’ve got proof of address and suppliers invoice just need the ID to send to them.

I’ve got options. I am also thinking of editing my own ID but just don’t have the photoshop expertise to do this part.

the only other option would be to write to customer support and ask for permission to edit your DOB on ebay as you obviously changed it several times already and the system blocks it after several changes

Yeah your right the edit part has been blocked as it has been changed a few times in 2 years.

I was thinking of messaging customer service to change it but I’m going to try and get the ID as it looks like it can pass if it’s good enough.

You can simply chat with customer service and you did mistake on typing the dob during registration

Look around on the net and you should find templates of UK drivers license and passport which you can use to verify your account.

My documents didn’t pass! Invoice was real just edited, utility bill was real but edited passport looked as good as a real one but still failed.

In the email it said identity could not be verified it was stealth as well.

It’s not suspended just restricted. Can’t list on the account but can buy on the account. I do know someone who can help me.

It’s probably worth the risk as theirs quite a bit of funds in there.
