How do i use stealth accounts in 2023
 

Hi guys it's been forever and a day since I had to worry about useing another ebay account. I'm currently useing one under my GFs info and it has limts of 50 items a month which is annoying AF! Had a few unhappy customers long ago and they slapped the restrictions on me. So I was over my buddy's the other day and he has a ebay account he uses to buy things and he only tried to sell one thing and didn't sell and he hardly uses it. I was thinking of trying to offer him money to buy it from him. He has 750 item and 34k month on his limits which would be plenty for me. I'm just wondering how it works now days with the whole ssn and taxes and stuff on ebay. I would have to have the money go into my bank account I could use cash app card as long as they don't trip over the names not matching. I'm not sure how the tax crap works on ebay. Was it when u sell over 20k a year or has that changed?

I would suggest taking time to read threads from 2021-2022, almost everything of importance is discussed. The forum is not as active as it used to be so it doesn't take that long.

Buying an account does not make much sense. You can get 1,000/$100,000+ limits on a brand new business account. If your friend has an account he would likely have already added his SSN, which makes the process not worth it. Instead if you don't have an LLC, buy one with that money and open a business account. It worth doing it the proper way now than trying to do a short cut and end up in the same place in a year from now.

Hi, I believe eBay even for business account requires a SSN in addition to EIN now.
