eBay Feedback Removal
 

Hi guys hope everyone is well, just wondering if anyone has been having luck with getting feedback removals done, seems impossible at the moment as they ask you to submit through seller help which always denys it.

Yes theirs a service on here who can remove your negative feedback for you so your feedback can always be 100%.

They can remove late shipment, defects, limit increase etc.

Look in accounts section and you will find them.

I've notice a change too.

In the past if the feedback was ridiculously inappropriate it was a formality that ebay would remove it for me. Indeed, I was rather pleased with the level of 'protection' they gave.

But recently I had one which was comically false and IMO also against their feedback policy. They didn't remove it. I was rather shocked and contacted them and got a stock 'it will stay' reply.

Needless to say I am not looking forward to the next one. (I recognise that if I 'deserve' it I take it on the chin... none delivery, damaged on arrival etc, regardless of courier fault. I only ever ask for truly wrong ones to be removed)

Yes it is crazy!!! what really annoys me is how robotic the replies are from seller help!

We live in a world of AI and the humans they do employ are script driven monkeys.

They've just announced they're shedding 9% of their workforce so this 'computer says no' approach will grow and grow.

I’ve just seen on his post you have reached out to him :) I can vouch for his services he has helped me removing my negative feedbacks snd even neutral feedbacks as well. You will learn a lot here

It can be really hit and miss

If you get a decent rep that wants to help they can be really great - but as soon as you get a bad one its makes it near impossible for any future rep to do anything else to help

If you offer free 30 day returns you can have any feedback removed if the customer opens a return request. People on here deny this, but that's because it is written nowhere in the policy, they intentionally keep it hidden.

The problem is seller help is full of robots who simply don't remove anything

I posted a video many months back where eBay had some podcast with one of the higher up managers explicitly stating this policy. It was never to my knowledge written anywhere on the website. I found it out from Yankee in 2021. If you offer free 30 day returns and a customer opens a return request then you will have your feedback automatically removed within a week. It all depends on how quickly the system processes it.

If it is not removed for whatever reason just call merchant support, they can manually do it. I find feedback very important, I protect my reputation at all costs. I know some do not care but I do. If I can control it why not have as perfect account as possible? That is my mindset.

Indeed, I decide to push it as an exercise in seeing if ebay would change their mind and remove it. Regardless of the compelling evidence it was against their policy and the buyer was lying, with rep No.2 agreeing, they fobbed me off with 'I'll get it looked at again'. It's still there.

Not that I'd go to these lengths but many moons ago I remember seeing tales of sellers sending in some kind of affidavit/Statutory Declaration with pretty good success. Is that still a thing?

Point i am trying to make is, no matter how complelling the evidence is, seller help reject it. and then whichever rep you talk to will find an excuse to back them up.. so left in no mans land at the moment. Hopefully someone has some advice

I have had a handful of Negative feedbacks removed over the years, you need to look at the comments and find a violation of policy, I got a neg removed a few months ago, the comment just stated ''.'' (without the '') got it removed within an hour
