 Ebay Has Loosened Up.
Things that use to get me instantly restricted are going through now. I was trying to verify a voip number but the text never showed up. I said F it ill try my cell number which has been linked to a banned account, it worked. I re used a checking account but with a different name no problem yet. Now time to list my items. Autographed trading card lot for 1000, Louie Vuitton shoes 650, Air Jordan 4s 999, 15000 dollars worth of high value varo items and autographs listed in the art category. They did take down my discount postage stamps. But i have sold 4 items thus far so im guessing the restriction will happen when its time to get paid, if it doesnt ill report back with the successful news. Im no stranger to 90 day holds they eventually happen one way or another. (i always fall behind) Ive been going stealth for 15 years and this is the easiest its ever been to sell an item. I guess it comes down to the ssn that you use , if their credit report is clean they leave you alone. Nobody on here likes to talk about that step but its the most important one. clearing your cookies is no where near as important as the identity you use. If you are worried about getting in trouble you should buy an account rather than make one, because you can say you didnt know it was ID theft but you cant say that wen you create the account from scratch. Dont think it cant happen to you , because you might be on their list, but theirs to many people on that list to investigate, so they wait until something else happens and you get priority. make sure you dont bounce any checks or piss off the wrong person, if an angry ebay customer calls the police and says you are doing id theft, they have to investigate
