| shandor | 02-16-2024 07:06 AM | My time has come. Welcome, dear Aspkin forum members!
I have been selling on eBay for 5 years, a lot of banned accounts.
Its been 3 or 4 years without creating an account. And now i want to create a new one.
I am just started looking for some info how to create a new stealth account without being permanently suspended. I will write down what my plan is:
1. Getting Octo browser + residential proxy + geolocation changer
2. Get a valid e-mail with linked phone number
3. Create a cookie base (searching the web for few days, create a youtube etc, watching interest related videos "for example kitchen related stuff")
4. Find eBay website "accidentally", start searching there without any knowledge and without registration for 1-2 days.
5. Return there, find the exact item i am looking for, register and proceed a purchase.
6. 2 weeks later once it arrives, leave a feedback for the seller (check their helps&contact firstly how to do that)
7. Try list an item.
This is my plan to build up a new account. May i ask for any suggestion or rate my plan? :)
(i am selling used clothing)
I am new here! Best regards to everyone. Its a really really good website with a huge base of information!
Thanks! |

Thanks! | That's a very ominous sounding title for a Friday!
1. I take it you are making foreign accounts then? If not, then none of that stuff needed.
3.Watching kitchen related videos on Youtube is a big red flag for Ebay, I would suggest videos on knitting, sewing, or kitten breeding.
4.Yes you need to act like an average joe with Ebay, average Joe wouldn't use the address bar and type 'Ebay'
Also, make sure you put some tape over the webcam, and throw away your smart TV to be on the safe side, you don't want an Orwell type situation.
Good luck. |

Sounds like: "Hello world! Here comes Shandor" kinda deal .
anyways' @OP you got some good advice already here, don't hesitate to open more threads to ask questions. |

| smokemdude | 02-28-2024 10:45 PM | Re: My time has come. It's getting hard to find ebay accidentally these days. lol I think it might be ok to just go there and look for something to buy. I usually create an account, do a search, add a couple things to watch list, and return every couple days for about a month. Then start selling. Buying stuff first has no effect on their selling risk level in my experience.. |

Buying stuff first has no effect on their selling risk level in my experience.. | Buying has no effect on selling status - that's true. But I just go the slow approach like you mentioned - browse and bid for a while then start selling - my own preference | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:13 AM. | |
