Updating bank on eBay

I have an ebay account linked to my previous bank info and phone number. I want to update my bank details. Will eBay ask for information about the previous bank account after I submit the new one, or do they conduct phone number verification? Anyone who has recently gone through this process, please help me

Just like AMZN then?
Before it passed this rule,some one logged into an AMZN third party seller account, changed the bank account and siphoned off $80K

Sometime is not working the manual change there is like an error message I had to chat with the customer service to make the change (without phone number)
