DAC7 and no tax ID, keep using the account?
 

Hello, I have a private European (not business) account on eBay registered in 2012, I started selling used items there some years ago and now have a good feedback and followers, selling good, etc. Now, I just received that DAC7 notification to add my tax ID, if I don't do it and stop selling with that account, can I still use it for buying or they will just stop processing payments for me?

What will happen if I choose that I don't have European tax ID and select another country, different opinions on that will be great :)

Yes, I received an email two days ago - "Provide your tax information on eBay".

Everything is still working and payment processing for the moment.

for 60 days you dont provide it they will restrict you and it may not be able to buy even

What will happen if I put wrong number (random numbers) for the tax ID, or what if I choose outside Europe?

eBay will send you the same message again after 15 days.
At least you have 60 days to continue selling without any repercussions.

Just got an email that my payments will be put on hold in two weeks if I not provide the info.

Yes of course, I get the notice a over a month ago, just now there's a deadline.

You must respond to eBay, if you don't, unfortunately they won't let you sell or buy.
